Rick says:
It’ll come down to nobody being able to afford anything , then an “ Orwellian “ existence we will find ourselves in . They are saying that a “ Besser Block “ housing estate for aboriginals being built over the next 10 years will come at a cost of 💲1.5 million for each “ total costing taxpayers 4.5 billion dollars for a humpy” I’m assuming they have in mind . It certainly won’t be like a 4 bedroom home in the Gold Coast .
Darinka says:
Well done Malcolm… you’re on the money again ..it’s time one nation was governing our beautiful country…
Chris says:
We should be doing what the farmers are doing in Europe over there taxes.

Why hasn’t the gifting limits in respect of pensions not been lifted for 20+ years. It should now be about $25,000 and not $10,000.
Another govt take from pensioners.
By the way, I am a self funded retiree.
Ben says:
We all know the problem Malcolm, but so few, especially politicians who should know better, that the well known “2% Liberty Tax” could fix this problem in no time flat. What is desperately required, are politicians with enough backbone to get behind an adventurous program like 2% Liberty Tax and implement it. Only then and not before, will we see the slightest change in the hideous tax problem you so rightly identify Malcolm.
Mark Bush says:
Nailed it again, Malcolm. Do you the resources to collate just how much of a person’s income goes to taxes, direct & indirect?? This would greatly assist the ‘common person in the street, the bread & butter people who keep this country going, the ones who may not have the resources to live above the breadline, the average Joe, on the avergar low income. That should wake up some of the less aware voters, especially those that are working & not ‘leaning’ on the handouts provided by the leftist government.
