Peter Dutton’s immigration proposal still involves importing more people into the country in the middle of a housing crisis.

A cut isn’t enough, we need to start deporting temporary visa holders now.

Transcript

Liberals promise a huge cut to immigration. That’s the news headline – but is it actually huge? And is it even a cut? Not really – the devil is in the detail.

Peter Dutton has promised a small, temporary change to the permanent migration number. It’s important to remember there are two types of immigration, permanent and temporary. Dutton hasn’t made any promises about temporary migration and that’s our biggest problem. He’s proposed to make permanent migration 140,000 a year for two years. That’s still 140,000 additional people a year coming here permanently.

Considering permanent migration used to be 80,000 a year, it’s still too high. Temporary migration is another kettle of fish that even Dutton won’t touch. Temporary migration are the temporary visa holders in the country.

Prior to COVID there was about 2.3 million temporary visa holders in the country. As of February this year, that number has exploded to 2.8 million.

Government keeps saying we’re “just catching up” on migration, but that is obviously a lie. All of those extra people in the country are fighting Australians for a roof over their head.

Peter Dutton’s proposal won’t even get us close to normal, he’s still talking about accepting more! If we want cheaper houses, cheaper rent and less Australians sleeping in tents, we need about half a million temporary visa holders to leave the country, not the increase Peter Dutton is talking about.

There’s only one party who’s talking about a real cut to immigration, to make sure Australians have a roof over their head —– that’s One Nation.

Funny how all the western countries seem to be following the same agenda when it comes to importing the 3rd world. Funny how the results for those countries is consistent. Any reasonable person might conclude they are all reading from the same play-book? Nah I’m sure it’s all one big coincidence like so many other things. Although given the way Wiki describes the Kalergi plan I’m not so sure any more.

One only needs to watch Dutton during his interviews to see he’s a gutless pissant by his non committal answers . Definitely NOT prime ministerial material , who finds these good for nothings running this country ? It’s as if he’s too scared to say what he’s really thinking .

Good Morning, Mr. Malcolm Roberts. I 1MILLION % AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT DEPORTING T.P.V HOLDERS. If that no. is true, I’m “FLABBERGASTED.” Not only TPV HOLDERS SHOULD BE DEPORTED, but ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO ARE POSING AS ASYLUM SEEKERS FLEEING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION IN THEIR COUNTRIES. I have written letters to the Daily Telegraph & Linda Burney, threatening (NOT VIOLENTLY) an “ULTIMATUM” EITHER LABOR DEPORT ALL 250+ CRIMINALS LET OUT BY THE HIGH COURT & THE NAURU DETAINEES OR ELSE AUSTRALIA WILL KICK OUT LABOR. YOURS SINCERELY PAUL CLANCY KOGARAH.

Yes, this budget reply by Dutton a bit disappointment, and a missed opportunity.

However, Dutton is only a cog in a machine, and can hardly be singled out, as politicians from both major parties have almost invariably been the loyal servants of big money, signing on the one hand free trade agreements left, right and center, so that businesses can cut costs by manufacturing to the third world, and, on the other, by bringing in third world labour for businesses that aren’t able to relocate.

    Dear Malcom,
What can be done to dismiss the labour/liberal governments in our country!
Before our great country has completely gone down the drain.

PLEASE, PLEASE anybody who has Any desire for Australia to belong to Australians, apply for nomination to One Nation party. Having more bums on seats in Parliament is the only way we can stop the Labor and Liberal parties from ruling the country and giving away hundreds of millions of dollars to other countries. I grew up in New Guinea and know that the mindset of the natives (what is yours is mine too, everything must be shared equally) does not help this country. If I wasn’t 74 years old I would be applying for Parliament membership with One Nation.

I think the ONLY way we can get rid of this useless ongoing Lab/ Lib situation is to change the voting system BACK to the original FIRST PAST THE POST format.
Then parties won’t have to cowl down to the minorities and can freely run with policies unafraid of whose toes they might be stepping on.
