ASIC is a failed agency that instead of holding the banks accountable has let them get off scot-free.

I asked questions about fees for no service at estimates and wasn’t reassured.

    With this problem of fees for no service persisting, why is ASIC unable to consider a system that can identify this as it occurs? Rather than wait for situations to blow up, they can be proactive and nip this recurring problem as it buds.
    I note it is the larger institutions being picked up for this, not the smaller operators who mostly have highly transparent relationships with their clients
