The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) has recommended the Moderna jab for children aged 6 months to 5 years.[1] The vaccine only holds provisional approval. Provisional approval is given to drugs where research is still being conducted, research that might uncover adverse effects not initially apparent.[2]
The risk of death to 5 year olds from the more fatal, early variants of COVID was as low as 0.0024% or roughly 1 in 40,000.[3] This does not reflect the risk of Omicron, the dominant strain across the world right now, which is estimated to be 78% less fatal.[4] This would imply a risk of around 1 in 180,000 to 5 year olds from Omicron. On the other hand, the risk of vaccine caused myocarditis is around 1 in every 10,000 for 12-17 year old boys.[5]
There is simply not enough information on the long-term effects to decide on the risk benefit calculation like ATAGI claims to have. ATAGI has abandoned the precautionary principle in provisionally approving Moderna for use in toddlers and children when it has no longitudinal, years long research.

The fact that I did not participate in the vaccine experiment, was a clear statement to my children that they also will not partake in the experiment, by way of example.
As far as I am concerned all who pushed or approved it have lost credibility.
Agree exactly Dan. I did not have it and it cost me time out from my teaching job…not a bad thing though. My kids are now well aware of the risks and unnecessary need for an experimental jab. They also know what Russian roulette is now as a consequence.
Time will (and is already) show the serious damage done by this coercion and fear manipulation.

WHY…when the U.K & other Countries have proven these Vaccines are unsafe for under 12 year olds
My husband and I are absolutely distraught with the decision to inject babies and young children. According to an article we read, they’re targeting the most severely compromised children. When will this madness end? Why do they continue to get away with this? We know adults who have had two and three shots and they’re sick on a regular basis, so how is it expected that a child’s immune system can cope with these dangerous vaccines. The lunatics have finally taken over the asylum. We both hope we live long enough to see these criminals behind bars.
Simple solution: All stake holders should be the first participants in any clinical trials.
My husband and I feel the same as you. I have written numerous letters and emails to various Members of Parliament, TGA and the Pharmacovigilance committee, rearly receiving a reply. Moderna has never successfully brought a medicine to market, yet our government has helped them with funding to build a factory in Victoria. Keep strong right is on your side.
Through the brave actions of a minority of doctors and politicians putting their careers at risk we have been made aware of the large number of injuries caused by these mandated injections. Given all of indisputable evidence of the harm these injections are causing, it is obvious that the federal government and state governments are complicit in a crime against the people of Australia, the evidence has been made very clear to them by Malcolm Roberts and others. To give this to babies and children already suffering from immune diseases is outrageous. It’s time for the brave legal people to now take their part and prosecute those responsible for these crimes. I believe they should target individuals – Doctors, bureaucrats, politicians etc and see how many of them continue to follow big pharma’s crimes on humanity when those individuals face prosecution.
I look forward to the day that all COVID perps incl., ATAGI, TGA, APHRA, CHOs, Health Ministers, Premiers (esp, Gladys), ScoMo, Hunt, Kelly, Murphy etc. all face prosecution. I won’t rest until that happens.
I don’t think there is enough data to say the risk benefit for this age group is appropriate to be pushing it especially on a population wide basis.
They are children no generally well child should be being vaccinated, risk of severe Covid is very low and it’s shown to not be stopping transmission as they initially stated.
It’s terrible what’s happening in society, need ing to find new work in a completely new field because of rediculous government rules abandoning precautionary principle for all
Anyone involved with this decision need to be locked up and the keys throwin away. Even the fizzer documents say it is not safe
