I recall when they were pushing for an ID card in the late 80s. It failed but they were always wanting to find a way to get the ID card, but it’s now more invasive.

I am curious. I have read our constitution, nowhere does it enshrine ‘freedom of speech’, only freedom of thought’. It does refer to the USA FoS, but only as an example. Odd! Isn’t it weird that it refers only to ‘thought’.
