The real problem is the pathetic royalties that are collected on our natural resources. All Australians are entitled to our fruits of the earth. Therefore, we need to set up a company or companies that we pay a fair fee to extract our resources on our behalf. The bulk of the value is the retained by the Australian community and used to fund and build public amenities, social programs, etc. Australians, in the alleged lucky country, should enjoy the highest standards of living in the world.
