Decades ago when there was the supplier of electricity that was Australian prices were steady & affordable yet now this whole renewable fiasco has brought global companies into Australia to fleece millions of $s to go overseas to prop up there balance sheets. Australia doesn't own anything anymore Power, Water, Gas should all be Australian owned so the bills we pay go back into improving supplies & services keeping costs down. What once was great will never be unless the fight begins to bring it back.

All these different electricity companies selling the same electricity. What an absolute joke, electricity will never be cheaper , these companies are about making money , not providing cheap electricity.

With what we have all paid for our solar and battery systems we could have all chipped in together and have gone nuclear cheaper and had a more reliable and efficient energy system. Where are all our tax dollars going, definitely not building the country’s infrastructure for the future.

And after reducing use by a huge amount, the bills keep going up. the main changed is the daily connection charge, which has increased from what was about 30 cents per day to up to $1.76 per day.

The only way to beat these bastards it would seem is to disconnect from the grid but if you live in Suburbia you can't. Next option is get a Solar System with Batteries to last you 24/7. You might get 20 years if good quality and their efficiency may drop away after 15 years and so will battery storage. After that you will need to replace the lot. Now writing this it seems this is what Bowen the Clown and these Bureaucrats want so it looks like the Unreliable Renewables System actually works. But let's assume your monthly bill is $200 that might be really conservative. My Solar System cost $20,000 so do the sums at $200/month = $2400/year, then multiply that by 10 years = $24,000. So it looks like you are actually saving a bit but over 10 years but your Energy Bill will keep rising Yes? Unless by some miracle Bowen the Clown is correct and it comes down hahaha. By the way I have Solar Hotwater which at the time I received a Govt Subsidy. If your old enough just go back to 1980 we had the cheapest electricity so what happened? Governments forced by the Green Lobby and interference by United Nation, WEF and others said we can't use Coal anymore. The Paris Agreement was signed Net Zero Emmissions became the rule and well suck it up unless we can oust these Leftist Governments.
