I'm sure many high school children will be upset, which will make their parents unhappy. I remember a true story from a couple of years ago of a teenager shooting himself, just because his father grounded him from his phone, making social media illegal is not going to go well for many teens, its hard enough for them now, this is just the beginning, next they won't be able to use discord (or other apps like it) while gaming. Parents need to parent, the government needs to be the government not parents to our children.

There is another concern I have with social media platforms collecting data from people, especially when it entails photo ID. These platforms are not from Australia and their handling of sensitive material, collating and storage in a foreign jurisdiction almost makes me feel it violates the Privacy Act. As we know identity theft is alive and well. Any Senator voting for this legislation must be held accountable.

We need a new company to start installing phone boxes and ditch the mobile phones Don't need them ,just have a computer at home ,I was 40 before I even looked at a mobile phone , rewind a few years back to bank branches every where looking after people like they used to ,and bring back the corner store ,start building cars again ,it's not that hard to live with out a phone attached to you 24/7.
