Ideologies don't belong in government policy. The government's function is to allocate tax revenue to services and provide fair laws for the country's public. The current uniparty seems even more preoccupied with control of speech than control of government spending. I am convinced that Labor and Liberals are working under a basis of managed decline instead of managed prosperity for our economy and our way of life. This is treasonous.

As a car enthusiast I was always against electric cars but since we have fallen in love with Elon I had to go and have a look at his cars, they put me in a model 3 performance and what a fantastic car they are. It’s certainly not a car for left wing/ greenies and so there is certainly a place for a Tesla in my collection and I will be very proud to have contributed in supporting him.

The hate is not against EV's but specifically Tesla because of Musk. But you know that Senator Malcolm Roberts, and won't let the truth get in the way of a good, made up story.

USA Democrats don’t hate EVs, as they were quite happy to host an EV convention at the White House last year, inviting all the big names—GM, Ford, Stellantis, etc. But they deliberately left out Tesla. This is mainly because the Democrat government hates the fact that Musk booted their backdoor control from the Twitter platform when he purchased it, which only got worse when he later decided to give Trump political support. Democrats have majority control over the media and even smaller tech publishers (the list is very long), which have since gone into overdrive with hit pieces on Republicans and Musk. 'Resource hogs' and 'huge negative impacts on our natural environment' could easily be countered by arguing that the oil/coal industry has a far greater impact on resources and the environment than lithium mining. After all that effort, the oil/coal is then just burned.

Hmmm…EVs are suitable for most people. And you’re making up stories about being resource hogs (they can charge using the sun) and have a significantly less effect on the environment than ICE vehicles. Running and maintenance costs are almost zero…so hardly unaffordable. It’s a pity you don’t tell the truth more often. 🤣🤡

Senator Malcolm Roberts I love it when politicians use the word “Mandate” “the people gave us a mandate to do xyz” is their excuse ! Well the people gave you a mandate to fix electricity prices which is one of the reasons they elected you .. election promises should be kept .. and the people gave you a mandate to keep that promise!

He hasn't failed, he's done exactly what he was instructed to do by his handlers. Why else would he have been put in the position and kept there when he obviously has no sense of the reality of the energy systems.
