In Australia, a 12 year old can choose not to live with one parent after a nasty divorce, even if that parent wants to coparent. A 14 year old can go to the Doctor and tell their mother she cannot come into the appointment so she can have progesterone injected under their skin for contraception. Boys can have legal sex at 16 years old. If that boy wants to have sex with a 14 year old partner, they are allowed to. Some politicians want to reduce the voting age to be 16. If children can make decisions at 12,14 and 16 without the permissions of their parents, then why are you stopping them from using modern media until they're 16. Stop trying to limit citizen access to the Internet.
