Brisbane and GC worst traffic in Australia, coming from Sydney 2 years ago I was introduced to moronic roads. Traffic lights at round abouts, u-turns permitted, slow drivers in right lanes, tailgating is normal and roadwork lasting years and years,.. taking months to actually even begin the works after they've put the road work signs up. You can be driving on the pacific highway between Brisbane and GC and it's normal to come to a complete stop! 😅 Then wait sometimes minutes to get moving again
The larger population makes us stronger but the Lucky Country has to stop further expansion of established cities and to start building new cities

in adelaide back in 2000 one or two adelaide council green members rode bikes to work. so with their powers they totally destroyed a few major roads to put in bike lanes and planter box;s reducing these major two lane road to one lane. turned the city into a nightmare. they also had bike lanes on roads out from parked cars. so when you reversed out it was impossible to see a bike. it was a monumental mistake that the council refused acceptance. only in adelaide.
