If you want to work overtime to try and get ahead. You get taxed double...before GST, came in our beloved government promised to scrap payroll tax. Now we all pay GST, plus payroll tax. Australia for Australians stop selling houses, land and resources overseas without getting big taxes to benefit Australia. Selling cheap gas/ coal without benefits coming back to the Australian people must stop. Big companies influence politicians way too much.

Great policies not hope of making change or gaining power

This I think is the trouble. I think that the Australian government has been letting too many migrants into the country but not many of them with tradesmen skills to be able to build a house for anyone. Probably, a lot that cannot afford to pay for a house to be built for them and rents are too high for them. I find it next to impossible to get tradesmen to do work at my place. They don't want to help me with home maintenance.
