After five and a half years of holding government departments and agencies accountable, and doing our own research, we continue to pursue Australia's largest case of wage theft. More than one BILLION dollars of underpayments involving as many as 5,000 workers.
Our research has led to miners submitting complaints to the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO). For example, a miner has been underpaid $211,000 and some miners have had at least $41,000 stolen per year of employment.
In this session with the Fair Work Commission (FWC), I asked Mr Furlong, General Manager of FWC, how many applications for regulated Labour Hire Agreements were currently under the Commission's consideration. He stated that 55 applications had been submitted, with 11 Orders made—9 in the mining industry and 2 in the meat processing industry.
I then asked a series of questions about the relationships between Awards, Regulated Labour Hire Agreements, and Enterprise Agreements.
Mr Furlong confirmed that, under the Labor government's recent legislation, it's standard for casual workers performing the same job as full-time workers under a Regulated Labour Hire Agreement to receive an additional 25% in pay as compensation for entitlements they do not receive.
Mr Furlong agreed to look into which Awards would have applied in the absence of Labour Hire Agreement Orders and provide that information on notice.
I've raised this issue at every senate estimates hearing since late 2019 and finally the Fair Work Commission and Minister seem to be taking this issue seriously.
Until recently, bureaucrats and Ministers have been in denial of what has been happening right under their noses and that raises questions of integrity.
Australia's largest wage theft case has been possible only with the participation of the relevant union bosses in the CFMEU/MEU, labour-hire firms, mine owners and the FWC's approval.

This man is very dangerous and Albo will comply with every thing the WEF tell him.
Both should be jailed!
Just a Prime Minister talking to a private corporation head about using his position to help a private corporation make a profit at the expense of the country he claims to be PM of.
Albo sounds nervous ...like when you're talking to the boss. This is also the trip that Gates bought up the major lifestock food companies ☠️☠️
How is Albonese allowed to authorise a bio security risk like this.
This is out right corruption at its highest.
Getting very close to treachery, I would say…….😡
A match made in Hell
They both should be in jail.

Meanwhile back to Labor reality. The $500 million voice Referendum debacle that divided Australia, refusal to audit spending, drunken Alice Springs lawlessness and violence, woke spending, the family car and ute tax, more carbon taxes in the pipeline, plans to steal electricity from your ev and home battery, billions wasted on grid scale lithium-ion batteries, ideological opposition to nuclear energy, soaring electricity prices with much worse to come, blackout warnings throughout summer, political pressure on CSIRO to force LCOE costings, $13.7 billion dollar hydrogen grants given to Andrew Forest for nil result, digital identity parroting from the UN, moves to eliminate cash transactions, $100 million spent on Albaneses indulgence beach house road, refusal to give Australians a royal commission into a mRNA injection that caused 21000+ excess deaths, WA sheep industry hammered, plans to take Australia day away from Australians, 27000 businesses close down, 26000 more Canberra beaurocrats to increase woke red tape, endless interest rate increases caused by excessive government spending, MAD Labor legislation to censor Australians, and now facial recognition required on your smart phone before you can use social media. This is worst Australian government ever. Vote NO to this ideologically driven government. Its time for Labor to pack their bags and go home.
We are getting genetically modified mosquitoes, and whatever Albo decided we need,so what's in jeopardy now, water supply or new mosquitoes carrying new diseases, boggles the mind

Albo is nothing but a puppet and is doing the elite waffle.. bout time we clean house start fresh
In the middle of a housing crisis, developers are locking up land, waiting for it to get worse so they can sell it at higher prices.
While cutting immigration is the number one solution to the housing crisis, we also need to look at foreign owned companies that seem to be waiting for house prices to get even more expensive before they build more.

And governments are letting the developers do itn
Councils once did the developing but worked out it’s easier to just get in a developer
Sir Humphrey Appleby would be proud of that answer.
Coward govts helping the rich....
The government needs to make public land available on leasehold basis to bypass the massive hurdle of having freehold land before building.after ww2 they did it
This woman's not worth the money we're paying her.
This country is a mess!
Clare O’Neil said on youth radio late Nov that she doesn’t want housing prices to come down, yet leftist mugs willingly swallow their garbage!
BREAKING: YouTube has suddenly banned me from uploading, posting or live streaming for two weeks
The reason given is dozens of videos, some more than 6 months old, that have only now been flagged as an issue.
This includes multiple videos calling for a COVID Royal Commission.
