During the November Senate Estimates, I raised significant concerns about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Since its inception, the NDIS has faced numerous challenges, including ineffective costing and planning, resulting in unmet needs for vulnerable individuals. The program is plagued by massive fraud and a forecasted budget cost of $90 to $100 billion.
I questioned why many direct care providers remain unpaid while fraudsters exploit the system for millions. Despite the scheme's noble intentions, it is clear that implementation issues need urgent attention. I emphasised the need for effective measures to address these problems and ensure that every dollar benefits those who need it most.
The NDIS agency acknowledged the challenges and highlighted initiatives like the Fraud Fusion Taskforce, which aims to crack down on unscrupulous providers. I stressed the importance of fixing these systemic issues to restore public trust and ensure the scheme's integrity.
I remain committed to advocating for a well-implemented NDIS that truly serves the needs of Australians with disabilities.

And families not getting any HELP
its run by people who have absolutely no understanding of disabilty. Each client is at the mercy of their Case Manager. Some clients receive generous funding while others have to fight tooth and nail. the whole experience is a nightmare.
When you have a half wit Bill Shorten in charge what did you expect No one in Labor has ever had a real job
One name bill shorten
Ive seen for myself the people looking after the helpless, NOT GOOD.
Hon Tim Ayers you are incorrect about a lot you have said here. You obviously do not have an accurate assessment of this subject as the end product for the majority. No doubt some have over-benefitted from this, but the assessor’s and OT’s have very limited knowledge about disability standards and the cause and affect of what is or is not provided through their interpretation (very limited) of a participants needs. Please take time to speak with participants in rural areas where the maximum profiteering takes place by OT’s, Builder’s, nominated suppliers, and the like. Thank you
Give this man a hot air balloon scratch that a fleet or a bib. dribbling around a no answer never heard of a straight answer
Senator Malcolm Roberts you are spot on! The NDIS is a great idea but fraught with fraudsters and overcharging ‘professionals’ with only Occupational Therapists allowed to lead Disability solutions when they lack knowledge on so much outside of the body’s limitations. They (most) cannot think outside of the box, use very overpriced and builders of low acumen to do the same copy and paste work which does NOT serve the individuals need to feel Independant and mentally simulated to live, and are treated like the Bees Knees. I had tried unsuccessfully to represent several local clients (regional NSW) as the Home Modification adviser - to the then Minister through local members to try and shorten the exceedingly long wait periods for the participants to even get a simple grab rail installed, but got nowhere with it as NDIS insisted they had to be visited by the OT’s who were the only ones who could determine their needs (and who made thousands with travel time and overnight stays charged for) and came after months whilst the participants became depressed and listless with the long waits. The Australian Disability standards can serve in most cases for the simpler issues, and I have rarely seen an OT look into emotional and motivational needs that as just as important as a physical disability for an individual to have the will to want to live. I wish you success in this venture, and thank you for all you represent on behalf of the community….
we don't need another office of unelected bureaucrats .. fix the problems you created with the resources you have or leave and we'll get someone who can ...
Country is absolutely fucked!
It started with Gillard. A major election announcement to gather votes without any due care to the Australian taxpayer. Result , something akin to the first implementation of workcover. Everybody had a bad back. NDIS is a great idea not though through.
Yes good on you Senator Roberts.
Many families benifit from the care given. What of the families of the carers who aren't getting paid was the question you buracratic prat. What's his salary package I wonder ?
Same people behind the childcare scam
And..arh…um…arh…um. Wakey Wakey Tim you have no idea what people are living with out here in the real world.
Just seen on a current affair, looks like govt have just taken funding away from the vunrable and created more beaurocrates to give the money to. These are the real dole bludgers.
Most of these schemes are setup to benefit mates or families, anything government does fails, go over budget. I remember when I worked in government one supplier said to me “why does it matter it’s not your money” he didn’t like it when I said it is taxpayers money which you and I paid for. Most have that mentality in government that it isn’t their money so that’s why projects go way over budget and never end. On another project they just kept delaying it as consultants loved their $2500/day fees. Wastage in government is why we pay highest taxes in TAXstralia.
Um ar um ar wasting time avoiding questions 💩💩💩💩💩
Some don't get care because they don't want to enter this scam!!
Mitch Howell told you
My god these ministers need to be put in jail!’
Don't muck around. Just abolish it.
He talks just like penny wong 🤮
There is Blatant Corruption and rorting of the system's. Criminal Networks stealing from clients and not providing an appropriate level of care .
All using AI to avoid questions, ar um ar 💩💩💩💩
The relationship between high immigration and making things worse in one graph
High immigration leads to:
Low labour productivity
AND to
Low & falling Real GDP per Capita,
Liberal-Labor Uniparty both push high immigration
So their globalist masters pay lower wages & get more control over wage slaves
This is another cause why life seems to be getting harder & with higher cost-of-living
Solutions: Stop voting Liberal-Labor Uniparty and instead vote One Nation #1

What about this Malcolm
Manufacturing as a percentage of GDP is really what they should be hammered on. It is absent. Sign the 2030 accords with the right hand and all the carbon based energy exports with the left. LNG plus Coal plus Uranium, the number 1 global exporter of energy? A million tonnes of iron ore a day. All the other ores and commodities. All those bulk ships leaving full and all the container ships dump boxes of junk and leave with empty containers. It’s a sorry state of affairs. The Co2 from the heavy fuel oil bill for ships is enough to make a mockery of the renewables lunacy. The only hurdle to prosperity is the electricity prices. They are high due to inaction over decades and pushed to the extreme now via false accounting that is in no way in the best interest of Australians.
Whilst the global paymasters live in their secure enclaves well away from the plebs.
Plus already housing crisis in rentals and home ownership pushing prices up and up and up ... not to mention Australia being pushed out of jobs and more traffic which is already pathetic .. good work labour yet again
It is only Government's that don't seem to understand the problem or it is deliberate
wow, these figures look alarming, but ring home true! From the boom to bust hey!
Seems to be getting harder ? It’s fckin harder on every single front . Gas Water Electricity Rates Food Alcohol Insurance Interest rates All through the roof . Not one fucking thing has been easier . Or had a reduction in prices Surely this is cause to step down and resign . We have had an absolute gutful !!
It’s amazing how you can make complex issues look simple in graphs and find easy associations with causations. Here’s one I found.
Add the property rental price increase curve!
Iron ore magnates are salivating. Cheap labour might lead to high safety incidents.
Stop the madness!
Politicians are terrified of the word "recession". They will do anything to avoid two consecutive quarters of negative growth. They will happily sabotage Australia's future in a desperate attempt to get re-elected which in truth is all they care about.
Yep. Post-Christmas didn't take long. You've already done: Transphobia Climate science denial COVID vaccine lies And now racist dog-whistling. Full set in just 5 days.
Is this scenario correct when it comes down to these 'migrants' and their accommodations? how about four buy a house, pay bugger all in mortgage every week cause there are four people paying for it ... work work work .. and then when the money goal has been reached, the four sell the house and go back home. Apparently this year, the total of migrants to leave to go back home has been lesser than what predicted .. obviously the 'data prophets' didn't take in consideration that the prices keep going up and therefore is harder for these individuals to put the wanted cash away in a shorter time frame ... All in all, everybody wins but the citizens.
Australia’s largest wage theft case
Some Central Queensland & Hunter Valley miners are owed more $40,000 per year of work
eg, one miner is owed $211,000. Others could be owed more
The Independent Workers Union of Australia is now filing claims with the federal Fair Work Ombudsman on behalf of CQ & Hunter miners
Affects an estimated 5,000 miners & totals more than one BILLION dollars in stolen wages owed to miners
I first raised this in the senate in 2019
Morrison LNP government ignored my calls for justice until my relentless work on exposing coal industry regulators led to a review of Coal LSL
That was their attempted diversion. Yet vindicated that my claims about Coal LSL were correct
Long Service Leave entitlements for casual coal miners are being rectified
LNP addressed superficial issues & ignored deeper, systemic issues in workplace entitlements beyond Long Service Leave
Next, the Albanese Labor government tried to bury the wage theft case
Due to my relentless pressure over 5.5 years though, cases are now with the Fair Work Ombudsman
Labor’s so-called “Closing Loopholes” Bill was their attempt to bury Australia’s largest wage theft case & to protect union bosses
Instead, the solution is simply to enforce the Fair Work Act
Independent Workers Union of Australia officer Ken Phillips wrote a four-page letter explaining the circumstances to the CFMEU Administrator & seeks the Administrator’s assistance
These pages are attached & give miners an introduction to the wage theft
When I first met with 8 abused miners in mid-2019, together we drafted 3 Aims for my work on their behalf
For over 5 years, our Aims have guided my every step. While I’m disgusted with the Liberal-Labor Uniparty covering up Australia’s largest wage theft, these aims will continue to guide my work for CQ & Hunter miners until all 3 Aims are fulfilled:
1. Get miners their legal & moral rights, entitlements & protections
2. Stop the abusive & illegal practices across industry
3. Get justice for abused & exploited miners from CFMEU/MEU, Fair Work Commission, major foreign & Australian labour-hire employers & huge Australian & foreign mine owners
Thank you for the magnificent efforts from Ken Phillips, the Independent Workers Union of Australia & a growing IWUA membership in the coalfields
Best wishes for success & justice in the New Year
I remain committed to coal miners & to restoring justice and restoring miners’ rights, entitlements & protections

Unions are sellouts today
Hopefully some jail time for the CEO's of the companies 🙄 but we all know the truth just a slap on the wrist 😡🤬
Please don't give up Senator Malcolm Roberts , we ALL need you holding sleazy slimebags to account. Love your work 👊
Working for the people….. we all thank you for your tireless efforts for what is right. The Truth Will Always Prevail!!
Dedication in action. Well done Malcolm. 👍👏👏🇦🇺It’s a pity the usual unions supposedly representing these people didn’t do the right thing by them.
Thankyou again Senator Malcolm Roberts for your tireless efforts supporting Australians in every way possible.
So private industry is again ripping off the average Australian. The workers need to take it to court as a civil case. We need smaller Government. Let's get rid of the Fair Work Commission and all our organisations that try and control free enterprise capitalism. They are the reason out standard of living is dropping.
Lock them up and throw away the key.
Your a national treasure Senator Malcolm Roberts
"Relentless pressure for over 5 and half years" tells you all you need to know about the ponzi schemers
I assume they were being paid CASUAL Rtes ie: 25% above? If so, are they paying that back the CASUAL LOADING they received?
This is the largest theft done by governments giving themselves payrises for destroying Whereas the peoples country, did you ask the people if you could do this, NO, so NO pay rises
More corperate/CEO fukery.
Your cooker "union" again I see Roberts....
people who love netanyahu love trashing the CFMEU, typical uni party and friends strategy
