Allowing the government to own a part of your home won't solve the housing crisis. Everywhere 'Help to Buy' has been implemented, it's failed and it will be no different here.
Instead of making homeowners feel like tenants in their own homes, why doesn't the government focus on cutting immigration and banning foreign ownership?

All part of their " you'll own nothing and be happy" agenda, it'll be a stepping stone to we'll just provide you with a house and you'll do as your told
“You’ll own nothing and be happy” I’ve heard that before and was thinking that is the most communist thing I’ve heard. Here we are in Australia today, so fighting in Korea and Vietnam against communism and ideals and we have come to this.
Only a fool would get into bed with the government. Socialism is at the front door
Will make it easier to take your home when you can't afford the "upgrades" required that will be forced on ppl under "climate change"
I recall a scheme in the 1980's in NSW. If failed and heaps of people lost their homes and money they'd put in to it. That turned me right off any Gov. help scheme.
some of us didnt get first home buyers etc we worked to pay for our homes,
Never would I let the government owned half of my house if I had house to own...
Don't expect Australia to accept advice from the rest of the World. You can't put an old head on young shoulders. Australia sees other countries making bad choices, and goes right on and does the same. One of my mums frequent sayings, "You'll be sorry."
Stop negative gearing and CGT concessions and housing will be affordable rather than used to speculate.
Sickening thought, owning half a house with the government, all they need to do is kick you out in the streets and you own nothing.
As if the politicians will purposely devalue their huge property investment portfolios. Lol, try pulling the other leg
What about the current home guarantee scheme where they don’t own a portion of your home and u need 5% deposit and no mortgage insurance. Will that scheme still be available
Let people use their superannuation
Australian government. Is the biggest scam ever
That's too sensible Malcolm.
One further point - these homes will soon be owned by Blackrock.
Not everyone has bank of mum and dad to help them. Home ownership is becoming dependent on your family name
All part of the WEF agenda. "You will own nothing and you'll be happy".
Yes
You’re better off owning 💯 of a tent than half of a gov owned house
Sounds like it's straight out of the WEF's playbook.
Yeah, the government owns part of your home and if you don’t tow the line they force you out. The Polit bureau wins, well done comrades 🤬🤬🤬🖕
The population deserves it as most don’t even know it is happening🤡
Just release enough land to meet the 315,000 births each year and cut immigration.
I Hope People don’t get Sucked in by it.
How much has your insurance increased?
For some, insurance costs have increased by as much as ten times. While many insurance companies operate under Australian brands, they are actually controlled by foreign multinational investment funds like BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street and Goldman Sachs.
These foreign entities influence our government to push climate change propaganda, which they then use as an excuse to drastically increase insurance premiums.
Only One Nation can be trusted to say no to the foreign corporate cartel, ensuring affordable insurance for Australians.

Rotten to the core
They keep more than they pay out all about profit
I no longer carry home or car insurance due to the outrageous cost. I am a full time carer and simply can't afford either of these costs .. my father always labelled insurance as fear tax .. drive responsibly, live responsibly and all will be fine as far as I am concerned
Senator Roberts, what would be involved in kicking these organisations out of Australia permanently? Australia should be for Australians first and foremost. Limit foreign ownership. Make foreign control illegal. Restrict the ability of these companies to remove money from Australia
None of the reasons that she has put forward for why premiums continue to go up can be true when insurance company profits continue to increase. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! What would help is if insurance companies significantly reduced their profit margins.
We have lost our country to the corporations
I got a renewal from Youi that went up 100% so I rung around a got another insurance company absolute rubbish
Insurance regos list goes on
Many home owners are taking in a boarder to rent their spare room thinking that their existing house and contents will cover them. In fact Insurance companies do not have a product that covers while the landlord is residing under the same roof. The boarders visitors are also not covered. If the boarder has a cooking accident for example, injured, hospitalised, off work and burns down your house, you are liable. Landlord insurance is the product when the landlord does not live under the same roof. Insurance companies should get with the times and provide this sort of cover.
Banksters at work
They don’t want people owning homes. “You will own nothing and be happy”
Keep up the good work
Well done keep up the good work.
Keep up the good work I so wish one nation was a major party so you could get rid of Labor and Liberal
Bs words!
Like the third-party we pay on rego, a total rip off. Shouldn't be so expensive when you take the amount of cars on the roads, they are making billions.
She doesn't give a shot this women is absolutely discusting and so tied into the agenda. Crap crap and more crap out of her mouth.
After the storm last Xmas Eve on Mt Tamborine the houses on the ridge that faces west have had their insurance refused to be renewed and are all now forced to sell assuminglly at a loss because of this 😥
remove them all , imposters
Can these criminals talk without reading some ChatGPT
The Help to Buy Bill 2023, introduced by the Albanese Labor government, will make Australia's housing crisis worse. The bill proposes to allow the government to own a significant portion of the house - 30% for existing homes and 40% for new ones. Providing buyers with an additional 40% purchasing power will only drive up house prices further, as highlighted by the Productivity Commission's warnings about increasing demand leading to higher prices.
The bill is also criticised for being poorly targeted and not addressing the fundamental issue of housing supply and demand. The limited number of spots available under this scheme suggests the government know it will introduce inflation. Key questions about how profits, losses, and renovations will be treated are unclear. Participants in this scheme could be far worse off.
One Nation proposes a way for all Australians to be able to afford a house. We focus on addressing both supply and demand issues. These include throttling the amount of immigrants in the country from their record highs to pre-COVID numbers (for a start), banning foreign ownership of Australian residential properties, allowing Australians to leverage their superannuation funds towards owning homes, establishing fixed 5% mortgages, cutting GST on building materials and gutting the bloated building codes.
Under the government's "Help to Buy" bill, you'll become a slave in your own home. Under One Nation's plan, the Australian dream of owning your own home will become a reality.

Labor is flying by the seat of its political pants making decisions without any idea or real understanding of the impact or dare I say carnage it causes. Blindly following WEF agenda.
There is no way I would want, not only This government, but Any government to have shares in my home..
This current federal govt royally stuff up everything that they get involved it. The housing market should be left alone to find its own level and not be inflated because of govt money!!!
It just gets worse & worse Unbelievable
Malcom Robert’s can you take over from Albabese.. We are all getting really tired of nothing working in Australians favour…
What a fantastic bunch of ideas, and they would actually make a massive difference! I particularly like the part where we use our super to reduce our primary mortgage, been saying it for years.
Why would any one want the government to have their hand on your wallet
Senator Malcolm Roberts do you actually have a plan to cover the shortfall of GST on building products which I would imagine to be quite sizeable amount of tax revenue that is generated. Or would you just simply cut the things they fund like to the cost of delivering state services, such as health, education and skills, infrastructure, environmental protection and housing.
sadly, younger generation wanting to enter the property market will fall for this scam.. the gov owning a percentage of your home is not acceptable.. this scam has been used before, with low income earners sharing ownership of public housing with the gov... it was a disaster...
Is there any piece of our lives now the Gov don’t have their fingers in.. FFS.. leave us the hell alone 😡
Help to buy and build to rent sounds exactly like 'you will own nothing' to me.
Logan council move them from Riverside at Waterford that has toilets .. No fixed mortgage rate should be higher than 5% for 10yrs and the rate you borrow at should be rate you keep or lower . Banking system is broken and is all about share holders and max company profits because of government and unelected RBA
When we were kids growing up in the Suburbs of Sydney d we had Rows or Army Barricks housing new immigrants.
Thank you Senator Tobers for some reason my text seem to be stopped before I can send them tut we appreciate you so much for never giving up to save our beloved Australia 🇦🇺 The problem is that a lot of people only watch mainstream media and are not hearing you 🙏 and God Bless you 🙏
People need to look to the UK to see how it has worked over there. Many have found themselves in a trap. Homes must be affordable in this country without the governments sticky fingers in ownership of them.
They distract us with schemes like the 'Help to Buy' Bill, which only serves to trap Australians further while doing nothing to address the real issues of supply and affordability. Meanwhile, we face larger, more insidious agendas, like the ongoing manipulation of our environment. Just yesterday in Melbourne, we experienced more of this so-called 'dribble,' which tested positive for harmful metals like aluminum, strontium, barium, and lead. It's all part of a broader agenda to control and distract us while our skies and futures are poisoned. How much longer will we allow this to continue unchecked?
No. No. NO!
They are trying to own your land and it’s crazy
Albo's plan will still see people with 25-30 year mortgages. Albo knows that in such a timeframe, mortgage holders will be pushed to the brink. Default on your mortgage and the Government will reap the rewards. Will the Government be the prime mortgagor? How will the mortgagor sale go? What will default penalties be?
More taxpayer money down the gurgler. This govt clear have no idea. None.
it will be like everything else bloody labor does it will be a stuff up & ppl will get hurt
Another WEF/NWO agdea ...🤦🏻
Good on you on Malcolm Roberts
Government never pay for anything, it's taxpayers paying for it
Helping people to buy houses just puts the price of houses up. The price of an urban block has increased about 10x in relation to the house since the 1970s. Governments lost control of the supply of housing blocks when they passed 100% of development to the developers. Who in turn passed that onto the home owner. So things like sewer plumbing, water and power supply, civil works, that will last for a hundred years plus, are paid for up front. Previously those costs were "spread" over decades by government underwriting. In turn the government of the day could use that underwriting as a control mechanism to regulate the supply of land for housing. Now the developers have full control and drip feed the market at the rate the marker will pay the optimum return to the developer. A house block should be worth about 1/4 of what the cost of the house is to be built on it. Or 20% of the house and land package.
BREAKING: YouTube has suddenly banned me from uploading, posting or live streaming for two weeks

This includes multiple videos calling for a COVID Royal Commission.
