MALCOLM ROBERTS
Senator for Queensland with One Nation
With a long history of seeking the truth, Malcolm believes Parliament needs to return to the facts to get back on track. Malcolm’s areas of focus include:
Building dams and water infrastructure such as the Hybrid-Bradfield Scheme and exposing mismanagement of the Murray Darling Basin.
Reducing electricity prices, increasing the supply of reliable energy and ending the government obsession with renewables.
Ending the control of unelected bureaucrats over Australia’s way of life, exiting the United Nations and restoring our sovereignty.
Opposing full foreign ownership of Australian land and forcing multinational companies to pay their fair share of tax.

“The decades of Government inaction on issues in the, ‘too hard’ basket is killing our country. We’re not afraid to listen and take up the things affecting Australians everyday.”
With a strong background in engineering, mining and business leadership, Malcolm brings a real world perspective to Parliament that the ranks of major party lawyers and former union bosses miss.
He has led the operational development of Australia’s largest and most complex underground coal project, setting many new industry firsts.
After being disqualified along with 14 others from sitting in Parliament in the 2017-18 eligibility crisis, Malcolm campaigned for election again in 2019 where he was successful with a huge increase in vote.

This is the third and final session on the Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2024 — aka U16's Social Media Ban - an important piece of legislation being waved through by the Liberal and Labor parties with minimal debate. The Department was called to explain the bill, which of course they defended with responses that would not hold up under closer scrutiny. If only Senators had time to do this.
Several serious revelations emerged during the Department’s testimony, including this little pearl: it's better for foreign-owned multinational tech platforms to control children’s internet use than for parents to supervise or manage their children’s social media and online interactions. One Nation strongly disagrees.
I also raised concerns about the YouTube exemption, which is worded in such a way that it could apply to any video streaming site, including pornographic sites. The Department’s response was to point to other regulations and codes that "supposedly" protect children from accessing porn.
What utter rubbish! Any child in this country without a parental lock can access Pornhub by simply clicking the "Are you over 18?" box. Teachers nationwide report that even primary school students are being exposed to and influenced by pornography. If this bill accomplishes anything good, it should be to prevent children from accessing pornography, which it deliberately avoids doing.
This bill is about many things - keeping children safe is not one of them.
One Nation will NEVER support this bill because:
(1) it should be the responsibility of parents;
(2) freedom of speech is every Australian's right;
(3) every social media user will need to verify their age by Digital ID.

We all know it’s about implementing the digital ID and social credit system to totally control us.
I will never use digital ID
Well done everyone 15000 submission with only 24hrs given. Great effort.
Never trust Labor...ever.
Yet they allow access to Puberty Blockers!
Agree Malcolm
So.......... parents don't want to bare the burden of being a parent??? Mmmmmmm
Complete sellouts! Trojan horse to bring in fascistic digital IDs
All this is about is more control wrapped up it "protecting the kids" wrapping. Like same sex marriage, starts of as one thing next you know you got drag queens reading stories to kids.
They were planning to lock up thousands of children and their parents with huge FINES TO PAY FOR FAT ALBO MULTIPLE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS POLITICAL LIFESTYLE ALBO DUTTON DICTATORSHIP
With the porn sites etc, here's the things, if I am looking up something online that I don't want the rest of the world to know, there's the private browsing option. Children that grow up with technology will easily figure out how to get around things. But to me exempting Youtube, Whatsapp etc, well I know if I was a child, here is the thing, to be told 'oh Whatsapp isn't social media' well it more or less is, all you need to have is someone's phone number and that's it you can do video calls with them over the internet, This whole debate of what's social media and what isn't is crazy, and by the way, about Youtube, the BIGGEST complaints I've heard about social media is people saying how social media is a 'cowards palace' due to people being anonymous online....but here's the rub there is NOWHERE online you can be more anonymous than on Youtube lol. So if they think people on Youtube aren't going to say things that hurt peoples feels, they should think again
Why are they worried about porn on the internet when it's in the school libraries, shouldn't they ban those first and let parents look after their children.
In a speech in the Senate, Senator Faruqi stated that "we simply have to develop new laws to ban fossil fuels and use more renewable sources of energy, as well as change our eating habits if we are to ensure a safe and sustainable environment for future generations."
Will you eat the bugs and rice while the elites dine on red meat?
... See MoreSee Less
Can we ban Faruqi please?
They're NOT "elites" - they are ELITISTS... they only *think* they're better than the rest of us, but they're not. They have delusions of grandeur... just like the majority of privileged politicians.
Why doesn't she go back to where she comes from and practice and advocate those measures there. Don't bang the door on the way out.
Give up everything you have that’s made of fossil fuels you fossil And go on a diet of bugs yourself I had a steak tonight … real food
The delusion is strong with this one!
She needs to change her eating habits for sure, just tell her Senator Malcolm Roberts where to get off, she doesn’t get to tell us Aussie’s what to eat, we love our meat.🥩
I don't think I will be taking her Diet Tips.
You can eat the bugs if you think you can save the planet ..that leaves real food for me and others who aren't being scammed by the Corporate interest.
If she doesn't have any agriculture education, science degree, experience. What is she sprouting on about. Deport her. Sustainable food production is pretty attainable and being done by responsible farmers changing their practices to stay competitive and sustain their industry in the future. If appropriate infrastructure is in place, ie water storage to harness water during large rainfall events to combat times of drought, support programs for farmers that work, reduce regulations, red tape on industries remove the aesthetic food branding that large supermarkets impose on food rejecting real food because a banana is to big or has a bump. Increase planting, revegetation to combat deforestation. The problem is the unqualified berucrats like yourself who have no clue about what your doing but talk down those who are more than qualified to address the real issues but can't because of the berucrats crap and your vane views that you think your so wonderful. Constant wasting of money while you leach more money and perks for being ineffective and unproductive. Go back to where you came from!
Ignore silly politicians expecting you to eat insects I know for a fact Pauline Hanson will fight that crazy idea
What else would you expect her to say, delusional. Is she going to give up all of her luxuries, home, phone, car, clothes, etc, all made with fossil fuels. Does she think all of our products are made with magic fairy dust. 🤦♀️
How do I get a job in the senate ? They need more people with brains not uni degrees 🤬 what a joke how the hell did she get a position as senator? My guess is corruption 🤬
She doesn’t get that size eating bugs and rice.
She’s definitely on the WEF payroll.
It just keeps getting more ridiculous. Do you need a volunteer Senator Malcolm, to shove a plate of bugs down her guts 😉
Looks like Faruqi needs to watch the diet already
sorry, sick of the rspca telling us what to eat, the climate people telling us lies. stopping cheap electricity and sell the coal to other countries so they can develop cheap power stations. More climate warming from one volcano than we produce in many years. The UN and other bodies dictating to us and taking our wealth and giving it to other countries. Supporting places that have terrorist roots and then bringing their supposed refugees here and assisting them to change this country to the one they left. Australia used to be a great country, now we suffering from what we achieved.
Oh please, Does she know how much water rice uses? Rainforest is being razed in Brazil for soy crops
Is this person a dual citizen if so this person should not be in politics
looks like you're in a good paddock ,you do not get that from greens /vegies
Can we develop a new law to ban her and her mob
Obviously bought and paid to promote WEF agendas
Maybe she should look in the mirror.
I think it's her who needs to change her eating habits.
Fossil fuels made her spectacles, the loud speaker, the clothes she wears, just for starters.
The Inquiry into the Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2024 — aka U16's Social Media Ban - heard testimony from the Digital Industry Group (DIGI), the industry body for social media companies such as Google, Meta, and X (formerly Twitter). During the session, the witness was given a torrid time by some Senators who were not receiving the answers they wanted. I commend the witness for her patience.
My questions focus on the bill’s wording, which fails to clearly define core concepts. This lack of clarity makes it impossible for social media companies to implement the legislation. Instead, what it will do is grant massive power to the eSafety Commissioner. The bill is so broadly written that the eSafety Commissioner can just about do anything she wants.
This is not how legislation should be drafted.
One Nation agrees with DIGI’s testimony and supports the bill being withdrawn and redrafted with proper checks and balances, clear definitions, and then subjected to proper debate.
One Nation will NEVER support this bill because:
(1) it should be the responsibility of parents;
(2) freedom of speech is every Australian's right;
(3) every social media user will need to verify their age by Digital ID.

It's a bs backdoor to digital ID, nothing more. Sorry, not sorry, I don't believe for one minute it has anything to do with child safety. Government shows very little interest in the health and well-being of its EMPLOYERS, unless it fits an agenda.
My fear is that if digital ID bill comes in now, it will be continuously added to until any transaction that doesn’t have it will be void. So if u want basic utilities, food, a car, house , passport, or anything where money changes hands, you would need to prove your iD in a digital format. Don’t they know enough about our lives already?, what we buy at the supermarket, how often we fill up, how many packets of chips we buy etc etc ENOUGH! I want my life back and all the data that is on me erased, and that should be a choice for us too
It's a great big trojan rocking horse. The last big BS was to save grandma.
Lest we forget they not only would not but could not tell us how the VOICE was going to work either ? Apart from to say the detail would come later. WTF are we even thinking about putting up with yet another attempt at treason against us under our constitution for.
Don't want it and don't need it its just another Conn job by this Government 🤨
So another bill proposed with NO detail! Just VOTE out this incompetent government !
Please declare no confidence in this supposed government now. Beyond disgusting and blatant disregard for our afforded protections and rights! Government’s must get out of our lives. Parenting is the parents role, certainly never was and never should be government’s to interfere in that role. Page 795, second last paragraph, of the Annotated Constitution of the Australian Commonwealth clearly states: the burden of authority has to be proven by those who are asserting any authority. Under what “supposed” authority did the government instigate this intended censorship and digitisation of the Australian people, given that we, the Australian people, have never given any government this authority 🤔 Sounds very similar to: The Australia Card was a proposal for a national identification card for Australian citizens and resident foreigners. The proposal was made in 1985, and abandoned in 1987. "Many Australians may object to this option on the basis of privacy concerns. It could be viewed as a digital version of the unpopular Australia Card initiative, which was rejected in 1987, or the Access Card, which was terminated in 2007."
Communism. Nothing more, nothing less.
There shouldn't be a bill.. full stop !! Tell these politicians to go do their job, worry about looking after the people, NOT controlling them !
I will never get digital ID
Backdoor job these commos must go 😡
Voice ....all over again. Vote it in...trust me the details will come later🤔
If the Government get a foot in the door here, there'll be no stopping them!
What about kids messager. My kids use it too stay in touch with their friends from the city and interstate. We live in a small rural town, and contact with their old friends is important for their mental health. I'm seriously getting sick of big brother trying to dictate how I raise my children.
Already got my VPN ready.
They have absolutely no idea what they are talking about it just an excuse to bring in digital ID nothing else. Will people ever wake up or are they happy to have the government in complete control. Seems like they do. Ah well been off social media will have its bonus. Bring back good old fashioned community face to face communication. Won’t that be refreshing
Typical of labor
Just put it in the bin. Because if they can amend it once. They’ll keep doing it until it suits their purpose. Get rid of it entirely
We don't want it period.
So basically the eSafety commisioner will pick, at will. Who is doing right, who is doing wrong (tech companies), what is right, what is wrong, (again tech companies), who can see what, when and where( general pop.) That's alot of responsibility for a tiny percentage to have over a large percentage. Must be hooked into everyone's daily lives to know exactly what is good for them or not! Honestly please correct me if I'm wrong.
How about this Government stop letting all these books with graphic pictures on how to have s..x for children aged 3 and upwards to be available in shops schools and libraries. There are already plenty off ways we can protect our children on line . As parents we know how to protect our children. We don’t need the Government telling us what to do . How about they worry about protecting all Australia s against the WW3 that’s about to happen ,and stop waisting time on trying to control us .It’s a BIG NO 😡
Take Albanese at his word, that is my style I hope you have seen it. He has never had the Australian peoples welfare as a priority, a WHO and WEF puppet.
Govt is worried with social media, full disclosure will come out regarding corruption around Covid reaction. Plain and simple as. The govt is worried. People power from now on!!!
Well done Senator Roberts for highlighting once again how Albos Lab is attempting to pass legislation without disclosing the detail and Dutton is good with that, 2 factions with the same WEF UN masters. These corporate mugs need to be thrown out.
Utube is educational for some.
BREAKING: YouTube has suddenly banned me from uploading, posting or live streaming for two weeks
The reason given is dozens of videos, some more than 6 months old, that have only now been flagged as an issue.
This includes multiple videos calling for a COVID Royal Commission.
Thank you for meme, David
