This report provides a summary of the discussions and transcripts from meetings with CSIRO. Additional links in the References section give an in-depth appreciation of analysis of the evidence provided by CSIRO. In the context of seeking CSIRO’s empirical evidence to justify climate policies, I know that CSIRO:
- has never stated that carbon dioxide from human activity is dangerous.
- admitted that temperatures today are not unprecedented.
- withdrew discredited papers that it had cited as evidence of unprecedented rate of temperature change and then failed to provide supporting empirical evidence.
- has never quantified any specific impact of carbon dioxide from human activity.
- relies upon unvalidated models that give unverified and erroneous projections as “evidence.”
- relied on discredited and poor quality papers on temperature and carbon dioxide.
- admits to not doing due diligence on reports and data from external agencies.
- revealed little understanding of papers it cited as evidence.
- allows politicians and journalists to misrepresent CSIRO science without correction.
- misled parliament.
Seventeen internationally respected climate scientists from Australia and five other nations verified our conclusions about CSIRO.
In conclusion, CSIRO’s science on the matter of climate for policy making, amounts to a gross misleading of Parliament. The onus of proof is now on Parliament to provide the empirical scientific evidence proving that carbon dioxide from human activity needs to be cut, and until that is provided, government must immediately stop wasting billions of dollars on climate policies.
Thank you Senator Roberts for persisting & uncovering the malignant cancer that, sadly, has progressively permeated & now infects what was once Australia’s pre-eminent scientific organization.
Sadly, it appears clear that the CSIRO has unwittingly allowed itself to be drawn inextricably into the mire of the climate change catastrophe by failing to validate the so claimed ‘settled science’ by the likes of Al Gore & his ilk.
The absence of empirical evidence proving the case against CO2, a miniscule, odourless, tasteless, invisible, atmospheric trace gas necessary for life on Earth is an indictment upon those within the CSIRO who have allowed such a high profile Australian icon to become a pawn. Trapped in a scientific fraud that has now grown beyond all expectations into a huge global multi billion dollar extravaganza, rife nowadays with Carpetbaggers siphoning off huge taxpayer funded subsidies in favour of the ‘Unreliables’ of Wind & Solar energy that will never deliver reliable, affordable, base load power, in contrast to (unjustly demonised) fossil fuels.
As so eloquently stated by famous financial guru / wizard, Warren Buffett who stresses that the only reason for his
participation in the ‘Unreliables’ energy industry “is because of federal subsidies.”
“Today, society has decided that federally-subsidized wind and solar generation is in our country’s long-term interest. Federal tax credits are used to implement this policy, support that makes renewables price-competitive in certain geographies. Those tax credits, or other government-mandated help for renewables, may eventually erode the economics of the incumbent utility, particularly if it is a high-cost operator,” wrote Buffett.
A Royal Commission into the malpractice that has gone on behind the scenes, wasting billions in taxpayer dollars in the investment into the ‘Unreliables’ energy market would be most appropriate!
Thank you Senator Roberts for your consistent work on this matter. A Royal Commission into this climate change madness is a great idea. We need new coal and nuclear power stations instead of wasting billions of dollars on expensive and unreliable wind and solar programs. Bring down our power prices and move manufacturing back to Australia.
Yes, a Royal Commission is in order. Nothing like a Royal Commission to bring out the truth.
